Green Beans with Fried Almonds and white onions.
- Rinse and Chop green beans into 2 halves each.
- Put the chopped green beans in a pot of boiling water. Take the green beans out once they are bright green in color.Do not let it sit in the boiling water for long.
- In a frying pan , fry almonds until they are golden brown with some butter.
- Add chopped white onion(1/2 white onion if big, 1 white onion if small) to fried almonds and let it cook for 2 mins.
- Add onion powder, salt and little hint of dark brown sugar.
- Add the boiled green beans to the pan , add little more butter if needed and remove it from the burner to serve.
Ingredients:
Green Beans
Chopped Almonds(not the one that is already toasted)
Butter(as required)
Pinch of Salt
Onion powder per taste
1 tea spoon of dark brown sugar
White Onion.
